If you look at BankNifty 10400 PE Feb Series,Day Low was 150 and trust me it was me who sold at 150 with profit of 50 Rs with lots of 1000.

Now,i am doing show-off stating that i made a profit but i feel that do you lack of knowledge i was not able to forecast best price for Feb series and because of that i missed the best price which was 250.

Any information on how to control/target would be highly benefical.By the way i made a profit of 50K.

Anyone hazard a guess as to where nifty can expire? Based on option data, 6200 looks to be top and 6100 support, a positive spin from RBI to counter the withdrawal of fed stimulus could give a temporary reprive
If we look at the Daily charts Both NIFTY and BANKNIFTY are trading near the support with NIFTY MAX Pain at 6200 (this morning it was at 6250) and BANKNIFTY MAX Pain at 11000. So we can expect some pullback before this expiry. The Expiry could be around 6200/50.

Watch for INDIAVIX to reach around 19.5 and One can Buy NIFTY or SELL the NIFTY Options Pair.

I m not able to see my image.... i think bcoz of slow internet connection
You can plot image in many formats like BMP ,GIF ,JPG,TIFF .....etc.
If you plot picture in BMP format ,it will take a lot of time.
So better choose either GIF or JPG format.

Raj, do you think Max pain theory will work this time especially in Banknifty as we have really gone far below the pain level. Although we still have two days but seeing the overall global sell off, can we expect a recovery of nearly 450-500 points ?

BANKNIFTY MAX Pain has shifted from 11000 to 10800. Looking at the Daily charts and the Pivot, I think BANKNIFTY would expire around 10800/900. So yes 300/400 points from 10500 is nothing in BANKNIFTY

I think I have posted this in the beginning of January. Normally the Expiry is on the Last Thursday of the month. Since 27-Feb is a holiday the FEB-14 Expiry will be on 26-FEB, which you have to change manually.

1. Goto Sheet SODATA.
2. The Cells AP20, AP21 and AP22 contains the expiry for the next three months including the Current month. The dates are automatically calculated using a function
3. Change the date 27-FEB-14 to 26-FEB-14. Leave the Rest of the dates as it is.
4. After 30-Jan-2014, the Dates would once again shift and you will have to do this change once again.
