How do you take monthly view...?......is it always intraday based on pivot ?.....or events.....

do u change ur view based on events( againts ur pivots or charts)???

for this month what is ur view on nifty ...like in past couple of months nifty was bullish on monthly basis???

do u see it trending bullish or bearish or rangebound?......

sorry for so many questions on market time.....i am trading since 20 years....used virtually all kind of indicators.....but always come across new things and love learning it...

thanks

I don't take any Long term view. I trade with LTF and HTF. I am a day trader and so have to go with LTF and HTF only.

For Pairs my entry is using HTF - When I get the Profit required, I close the positions.

For Monthly view, probably you have to trade using Daily charts, which I have not tried.

I use Daily, Weekly and Monthly charts just to get a overall Perception and I don't use them for my entry. For my entry only LTF or HTF matters.

Since there is a RBI Policy tomorrow, I would rather be cautious and take the OTM calls or Puts after the event.

whats will be the impact of rbi policy on following pairs....in case or huge volatility or huge downfall of say 125 nifty pts or 300-600 pt banknifty

sold pe 1500 pe and 15500 ce....

in case of nifty

7600 pe and 7800 ce

7500 pc and 8000 ce
7600 pe and 7900 ce......

coz in case of nifty pe price on higher side and downfall would create loss in short time......its good for longer period....

your feedback is highly appreciated:)
I don't want to predict. Why don't you try BANKNIFTY Options because the MAX movement will be in BANKNIFTY ? I have already posted my view on BANKNIFTY. NIFTY Right now I am positive. But since BANKNIFTY is trading near the PIVOT, I am cautious because when an instrument is trading near the Pivot, it can go either way....

So I normally do not trade near the Pivot. I BUY near the Support and Sell near the Resistance - Buy Low SELL High :).

Buying or Selling in the middle is Risky

For Those of who want to Take some positions before RBI Policy. Watch INFY and SBIN. These two stocks should give some indication.

SBIN is trading near the Support and INFY is trading near the RESISTANCE. So tomorrow INFY should start moving down and SBIN should start moving UP.

NIFTY should follow the SBIN Trend. INFY should trade against the NIFTY Trend.

SBIN Daily Futures Support @ 2394. If the support is held, it can goto 2950. 2416 is also the Minor Trendline support in Weekly Future charts.
Those who want to BUY 2600 Call @ current IV Can try putting Limit order @ 30

INFY Daily Futures RESISTANCE @ 3474/90 - Weekly Pivot @ 3528. Today the High was 3474.
Those who want to BUY 3400 Put @ current IV Can try putting Limit order @ 53

Mr. Raj can you tell me which brokerage firms services are you using as my current broker Karvy charges quite high, Rs. 90 per lot or 2% of premium, whichever is higher.
If you can recommend a good one with brokerage details then that would be great, thanks.

I have been using Zerodha for some time. For Options Zerodha charges Rs 20 per Trade. You can check the details on their site.
Before that I was using ICICIDirect who were looting money like anything :)

There is a Thread for Zerodha in TJ. You can ask them if you can transfer your Demat accounts
