Angira,
Thanks for the stats.
so by looking OI, we have a pivot 8750 and looking at current price trading above pivot, so can we go long for positional trade ?

Thanks,
Mak

Seems you need a long road to make any decision in trading as you are a member since 2007

Hi,
Yes, i joined this forum in 2007 and did learn TA.
I am not a full time trader ( and there are restrictions in office also to use TA tools ) so i chose to take help of so called professionals ( banks and some tips providers ) and lost huge money .So i stopped everything in trading. So now reviving my skills.

I did try to use MTF trading and lost all my confidence but looking at the thread by RAJ i am gaining the confidence back.

Thanks,
Mak

Yep, this can happen and it hurts very much.

Now just take your time, do not trade with any anger against the market or who ever and stay calm until your found your new way to enter into the market. What ever time it takes, if one month or five years, do not trade until you have come over such a case.

If you still want to trade and have it as your final target, you will know when the time has come back to do the next trade with real money.

Hi guys,

I have been following this thread for a long time. This would b my 1st post here and I like to start by thanking Raj for starting this wonderful thread and also to angira for keeping it alive.
I was wondering whether it would be too risky to short the 9100 - 8700 pair!!! I have a bullish view on NIFTY and wanted to limit the upside risk. The pair is trading @ near 60 today. Views from other members would be very much appreciated :)
Best,
S

I want to close the pair 8600-8800 just below 100 but now trading near 67.

Close the pair now near 67.
This series i've entered late with MAX_CHG_OI pair, but get target nicely with some more points.
