i get a sell signal in my chart at around 8200(8198),then i look at MAX CHG OI that's also give me a strong sell signal,CE8300 MAX CHG OI,then i trade

You still need to have a sense of the Direction. Since we cannot be 100% sure on the Entry point, we cover it with 30 points on the opposite side. So fundamentally you still need to get a view on the Trend and Direction. So work on your technical Analysis to find the Direction for the day (UP or DOWN) and the TREND (FLAT or TRENDING).

I have a doubt. In the basic rule, when you say when volume is greater that OI, it's a strong bull or strong bear. According to nifty option chain page, do we need to multiply volume with option lot size first and then tally the number with OI? Like, for example, HDIL lot size is 2000. so, if we see volume is 500 and OI is 256000, then we should first ,multiply (volume x lot size) that is (500*2000)=1000000...then check whether 1000000>OI or less than OI.... thanks in advance..

just for my information and knowledge, the way NSE india website displays option chain, do we need to multiply volume with option lot size to get the exact volume and then tally with OI?

And, what indicates a strong bull or strong bear phase?
