Sirji , you must be scaring bears on this board when you talk about 5656...
I am with you and have been saying that expiry will happen above 5500..
Anyway I have stop loss if it goes against my position.
Bro OI showing not yet short covering started and people waiting for 5555 and what i am watching is short would be covered first in RIL then in NF and then we can see 5656 but more chance are of me going wrong as here most talk with base and I use to talk baseless:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Hi

Need some advice when to close these position

1) 5500 CE sold @ 18 now @ 50
2) 5400 CE buy @ 120 now @ 130

I can't trade in future trading as I can't sit and monitor all day
I am ready to book some loss or can hedge more by options only.

Thanks

@ Simple trader

Can i infer that you mean that the as long as upper trend line is not breached.. we remain bullish;)
I do not think I meant that. I was meaning NF may face resistance around spot 5538-5540 spot as per the trend line!

As you know, I am bearish on market and have been saying that market can reverse from 5500-5550 range. If that happens, I expect market to go for prolonged correction (upto 4400-4500).

Market is supreme, I stand by my thinking unless market moves beyond this range. My fingers crossed!

Happy Trading!

Pal , your 5400ce if u note is behaving as a future (No theta left) and u have paid premium for it instead of just going long futures.. Remove your mental block towards futures. OR convert to calendar spread .. buy 5500ce sep, get rid of 5400ce. Further adjustments can be made on expiry. If u don't feel up to it , square off all positions. That's just my op. May be some one else could guide u better.:)

hey one question guys,

If SGX open big gap down,Can I short Nifty as soon as market open on market price.

Since I have 5400 CE buy , I will not be in loss if market goes up.
5400 will act as a hedge.

Also, I will be closing 5500 CE sell tomorrow. i am keeping this as a separate trade
with 5600 CE sold as well as 5200 PE sold. So it will be no profit no loss.

My question, is it good to short as soon as market opens if you know market will open gap down.. OR.. you may be in loss as everyone try to short at that time and your order may be executed last.

Please advice
Thanks
