hi Abhi and other members,

Some what new to trading
Im reading this first time today and completed all pages just now.

Thanks to Abhi and all other members for carrying forward a useful topic with dedication and sincerity.

I am Sharekhan TT. Earlier in the pages it was told that TT is not having the facility for d1+ & di- but one member pointed out this is available. I tried to see but now TT not working. I will see it tom. But if any body using the trading formula as per abhi in TT please tell me whether it works well in TT? so that no charting software is required.

I am very much thankfull to Abhi for providing this wonderfull theroy. I have made some little modification according to my observation and this is working fine.

1. Plot 3ema and 15 ema on price chart
2. plot 40 period ema on price chart
3. Add Adx 14 study
4. Add Stockistic study

When 3 ema cross 15 ema on price bar (Imp. Ema cross should be middle of price bar) and same time di+ cross to di- and price is above 40 ema take the long position above the cross bar you will 100% get the 0.50% target. Vice versa for short poistion. To avoid wipshow ema cross should be middle to price bar and both emas should be parallel befor corossing .

Try this twick according to me it is best combination. I request memebers to backtest if have any doubts.

In Sharekhan Trade Tiger there is indicator named ADX you will get 3 lines one line is for Di+ one line is Di- and one line is for ADX only choose time peirod 14 you will get all signals there. ADX indicator is combination of DI+,DI- and Average of DI+ and DI-(3rd line). I think it will solve your problem of DI+-

i have never seen any trade tiger account so can u tell me clearly that only adx indicator is present there or +di and - di are also present separtely

if u think it is there , please post an image here so that we could analyse the matter better .

if only adx is present , then i don't think u can use my setup , its because adx indicator tells about the strength of the trend and gives idea about strengthening or weakening of trend , ((i love this indicator very much and i have also started a thread in advanced trading strategy , named system trading is based if trading systematically )) but drawback associated with the adx is that it never tells about the direction of market . so while applying the techniques mentioned in this thread i don't see adx is any worth of .

+ di indicator (separately ) tells about the formation of a bull trend . good thing with it is it tells about the trend strength but tells about the direction as well .

-di is indicator reverse of +Di indicator it tells about strength of bear trend , if it is strengthening it means a sudden fall is near

so when they ( +di and - di ) are plotted in the same pane of a chart and , if they makes a crossover , the rising indicator (either +di or the -di ) gives the market direction and trend starts strengthening in that direction .

thanks maruti , for working on improved setup and devoting ur precious time on it,but i have some doubts can u clear them .

1) have u tested the set up ?
2) where is Stockistic study, u mentioned it is to be used but not mentioned how ?
3) in how much time frame one should use the setup ?
4) di crossovers depends upon trend strengths and moving averages simply average of prices . may be (not sure ) they very rarely make any of crossover together (at the same time ))
5) please post any chart showing such crossovers happening together and generating signals (if possible)

there is an indicator by the name of ADX in TT which gives di + di - di avg...though i haven' t got the time to do that setup yet except of 313 ema...well abhi says ADX ain' t what he feels to be right...going to post a chart later with ADX setting so that abhi could look at it

first of all thanks rishi , one compliment (bare khatarnak chart dale hai bhai tumne )

lets come to topic ,

in first chart , u have placed 3rd line 2 bars bfore moving average crossover .

in second chart good to see , it is clearly indicating di+ and di- in green and red colors respectively in adx pane in amibroker also they comes in same style, no problem use it , look for crossovers (di+ and di-) in 5 min chart and enter into trade and set target 0.50% .

will analyse and discuss maruti's setup tomorrow with other scripts also .
