Is there any broker who gives past ( from 1984 ) and present data in candlestick charts with volume ?

Yes, Did this happened around 10PM (IST), but tryig little late in night it was done, may because of some NSE server problem?

but i was able to dwnload in night...

NSE has stopped providing data in plain CSV format. I will have tomake a code change so as to download data in the provided zip formatand extract the data like it is being done for BSE today.

This is not something very difficult and you should get the working versionof Getbhavcopy by Friday Night (4/12/2009). Till then please bear withme and sorry for the inconvenience.

Unfortunately NSE does not tell me before it releases such drastic updates to theirsite ... so our approach is more of a reactive one and not a proactive one.

Also a bit busy with office work so was not checking this site for the past two days.
