Hello Satya,

I have been using your data extractor for NSE scrips for some time. I also use the converted NSE ASCII data to convert it to MS data using MS downloader.
The utlity is excellent in terms of ease of use and speed. The ASCII output also works with MS downloader very well.

I wish if you have any plans for upgradation you would kindly consider for BSE and NSE futures data download ,conversion and adaptability of the same converted BSE and NSE futures ASCII data for use with MS downloader.

I had used another utility to download and convert BSE data. But i am unable to get the BSE ASCII output to make it work together with MS downloader. There seems to be trouble with directory size limit also while converting BSE ASCII to MS data using MS downloader. MS downloader crashes after converting a number of scrips. Say from alphabets A to O. Then i had to select from O to Z to convert the rest of ASCII data.

The BSE ASCII format i used was Name, Date(YYYYMMDD), Open, High, Low, Close, Volume. The MS down loader is asking for a ticker symbol for every scrip before it converts it. So to bypass this message i had to keep pressing the enter button.
My version of MS is 8 EOD.

I will attach a sample of BSE ASCII data used with MS downloader. Kindly look into it when you have free time.

Regards
