I do not get any quote values for cnx bank nifty spot . For Nifty, there is scrip id - nifty_spt .I tried with indices as exchange for ^NSEI & ^NSEBANK. I do not get any values at all , I mean I get N/A, N/A, 0 0 0 0 .
Help me / guid me to add that.

sir i have installed your charts software.. it is not working at all.. when i double click on it it tell tht it tell " component 'msflxgr.ocx' or one of its component is not registered,. bt when i tried to register this file i open it with windows regisver32.. but then i get the error ... please suggest me... and tell me what is the minimum requirement of this software.. im trading with A N A G RA M.. Your utility well for backfill for nse & mcx IEOD DATA but not worked in currency in mcx or nse terminal. So, Pl, compatable your utility to fulfill above criteria.

Dear Eevra,

Please make sure that you had chosen the right symbol. ^NSEBANK is the right symbol to view BANK NIFTY and it is updating with real-time data - you can backfill this index using 'last 15 days-1minute' backfill option too.

Choose YAHOO -> MODIFY (next to profile) -> choose INDICES under Exchange -> Select ^NSEBANK and Save.

Dear Sunnyarora1988,

If you are using 64-bit windows, you need to pass through below

• You should have administrator rights
  • Right-click dos command prompt and run as administrator
  • Go to chartsdata installation directory, and type "Regsvr32.exe msflxgrd.ocx" and hit enter - you should get a message saying that the component was successfully registered else you need to find a way to register these dll/ocx files.
  • This should be done for all dll/ocx files present in chartsdata installation folder - only once.

• You should have rights to change DEP (Data Execution Prevention) settings by right clicking "My Computer" -> Advanced -> Settings (under Performance) -> Data Execution Prevention tab and make sure that it was turned off for ChartsData.

Few of the members had issue with 64-bit but by applying above said scenarios with administrator rights enables them to use chartsdata without any issues. Try it out and let me know if you face further problems.

First of all thanx for this wonderful utility.
If possible please give permission for atleast 5 scripts in this Limited version.

now come to the point regarding this msXXXX.ocx registring issue, i too have this issue when i install Windows 7 but there's one way to overcome this issue. Just go to Control Panel--Programe--Run programe made for previous version of windows--add that programe.
