u may try this one. go the folder c:\chartsdata\amibroker and delete all the file by select from edit menu . and then configure ami data base as instructed in help file of chartsdata

Hi - i have been using chartsdata with ODIN for F&O. it has been working very well. today, the watchlist data is not getting shown in Chartsdata. Even though the heading from Odin appears in chartsdata, the data is not getting updated. pl help

Dear Sunnav,

No, no feature has been disabled in limited version except for the restriction in processing number of scripts. You should get metastock chart update when followed below steps.

1. Open Metastock before running chartsdata
2. Start ChartsData and make sure to see real-time data update in chartdata watch-list via ODIN or Yahoo
3. Choose Metastock option and click UPDATE - you can see the custom refresh interval is set to 5 seconds, change it to recommended 15 or 20 seconds
4. After few seconds, metastock files will be created at C:\ChartsData\MSData\MinuteData folder - open charts from this folder.

Please follow as mentioned above and let me know if you still face issues.

i have installed your programme but it does not send data in metastock folder always shows folder empty have u disallowed use of trading software in limited version? i have
rajeevtried all your suggestion ie opening metastock before opening chartsdata.also opened update before blackfill please advice.

Yes, it is compatible with Windows 7 but you need to perform below settings to work without any issues.

1. go to Control Panel-->Programe-->Run programe made for previous version of windows-->add ChartsData to the list.
2. Make ChartsData as your trusted application to windows and anti-virus.

Limited version is limited to process only 2 scripts where as registered version is not restricted to any features and you can add any number of scripts your system can process.

Hi

I have downloaded the latest version & installed it
I am transferring the data through ODIN

But when i try to open the chart in Metastock, I get the error of insufficient memory
I am able to open other charts immediately but not the chart made by the utility which means the problem is not in my system
Please advise
I am using Widows XP SP3 & MS 10.1
