I tried launching v1.1 after installing but the following message is coming:
"Component 'msflxgrd.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid"
Please help. I am using laptop with windows 7 professional 64 bit.

i am not able to login to chartsdata... getting rt data for indices but not for the stocks after attempted login.. is this yahoo server issues?? is anybody else facing the same problem??

Dear Mangai/nik.trader,

This error was due to incorrect registration of ocx files - please follow below steps to ensure that required files are registered.

You must have administrator rights in your Windows 7 and should run chartsdata as an administrator i.e. right click chartsdata and click "Run as administrator" instead of just double-clicking it.

Make sure below settings were done.

• You should have administrator rights

• Right-click dos command prompt and run as administrator
• Go to chartsdata installation directory, and type "Regsvr32.exe msflxgrd.ocx" and hit enter - you should get a message saying that the component was successfully registered else you need to find a way to register these dll/ocx files.
• This should be done for all dll/ocx files present in chartsdata installation folder.

• You should have rights to change DEP (Data Execution Prevention) settings by right clicking "My Computer" -> Advanced -> Settings (under Performance) -> Data Execution Prevention tab and make sure that it was turned off for ChartsData.

Dear Kentuky,

No, you can get real-time quotes for all NSE/BSE cash scripts. Limited version will process first 2 scripts in your profile - move stock scripts
to first or second position and check.

Dear Sudhir,

Yes, chartsdata can be used to view real-time data for MCX using ODIN Diet terminal but not Yahoo. Yahoo will not provide F&O data's and hence use ODIN Diet terminal to view all F&O scripts including NSE/BSE/MCX/NCDEX cash and F&O.
