I'm a NEW USER of your software and was impressed by the efforts that u have put in WITHOUT EXPECTATIONS...
Hats off to you...
I recently downloaded your software and was trying to use it for MS10. I came across some errors, as follows (Please note that I'm in the process of reading all the chat transcripts right from Day 1 and am not sure if you would've replied to these queries. Pardon me incase you already have replied to these queries and request you to point at the respective reply posted earlier, if applicable).
1) When I tried to "Update NSE/BSE Database" I got an error message "-2146697210...Internet Connection might be lost or Proxy Server Error"
{Not sure if I can post the screenshot}.
2) Your default software Profile had RIL, TCS & ONGC listed. I tried to make a new Profile with my preferred scrips and tried updating the same for MS (portfolio created in Y- a- h- o- o and logged in. I dont have ODIN - which i shall try and get hold of shortly). After updation, one day's data got loaded for the above mentioned stocks - BUT NOT FOR THE ADDITIONAL STOCK WHICH I HAD INSERTED MANUALLY. When chkd from Win Explorer, there are multiple F1,F2....etc files in MS/Intraday directory. But they are not shown from MS10.
Assuming that could be something which u would need to work on, I tried modifying the DEFAULT profile with 2 addnl stocks. But the same thing happened again.

Can you please throw some light as to what could be the problem and what needs to be done at my end (Win XP/SP2 with MS10 RT installed in Offline mode)

One more query..
u have already mentioned that we should be having an internet connection for the utility to work...
Can u pls revert if this works on a machine connected via a proxy??? If yes, how? If no, would it be possible for you (in your next releases, as per your convenience) configure the same.

If I open ur chartdata and odin around 1pm, data updating from 1pm, what shall i do for previous data from morning.

I started yesterday, trial of a RT datafeed provider, software called Graphit-Live. I am subscribing through a reseller. I don't really know the provider. Cost for NSE Cash and F&O is Rs. 2500/- per month.

Can anyone provide feedback about this provider? Good or Bad?

as per scheduled charts data will expire mid august....can u throw light chartsdata service wont work after this or anyother modified version u r launching...so far ur software is really helping small traders like as a lot...wud like to know frm u for further arrangement...thnx for ur efforts dear...thnx in advance....

Dear Loganathan,

I am using ChartsData with FChats, It runs fine but someday Fcharts is not giving Intraday live realtime charts. when this happen I'v tried restarting the FCharts & ChartsData several times but does not work at all. I also backfill the data which works but the Live Data Feed does not work.

While checking the data in file ChartsData\FCharts\*.txt, the data is well updated every 5secs, and even the Live Data Window of FCharts show that the intraday data are been imported as per the time duration set by us.

Where is the problem then, Please Help.

from 3.08.09, cd is updating live data of yahoo as well as odin with wrong date
it showes data of 3.08.09 as 08.03.09 and 4.08.09 as 8.04.09
