Thanks and yes, as you said it is not advisable to trade based on Yahoo's intraday data - I suggest you to use ODIN Diet terminal with chartsdata if you wish to trade with charts as it will give you exact live data.

Sure, a lot of members have been requesting for an upgrade and I am yet to do it - will update you all once it is done.

Hi,

You know and everybody at this forum knows your programme is very good. However, the real time data from Yahoo is all crap.

The signals from AFL change from buy to sell after few candles due to data modification.
I have suffered loss due to this drawback.

I have account with IndiaBulls, Ventura and Zerodha. Your utility does not support them to download real time data and feed it to Amibroker.

Request you to release an updated version of Chartsdata incorporating real time download from popular trading platforms like Zerodha, Ventura, IndiaBulls, etc...

Hope you will consider my request favaroubly.

Dear Sudhir,

You don't need any special skills to install - download the exe and install like all other applications.

It will ask you for password in the first step, mention - Traderji

That's it, click Next -> Next and Finish.

It is not a complex process though - you will get to used to it once you start doing it.

Dear Jiten Singh,

Add MCX, NCDEX, F&O scripts in your ODIN Diet terminal and start using chartsdata like you did it for Cash - make sure you have those F&O scripts added in the first 2 rows as limited version will process first 2 scripts alone.

You can't get MCX, NCDEX and F&O scripts via Yahoo as they will provide you only with CASH segment data's.

Thanks for your reply.

Have been scanning around for ODIN Diet terminal provider.

Now there seems to be two versions - one is ODIN Diet and the other is ODIN Diet Client.

I safely assume that you are also using ODIN along with chartsdata for trading, please throw some light on which ODIN version and Broker to use, to avoid loss of real time data and minimize loss.

One thing which I have been able to summarize after scouting around is that ODIN (do not know which version) is slow, prone to failures (like freezing, hanging up etc) and quotes refresh every 5 seconds or more.

Appreciate your guidance to avoid trail and error with various versions and brokers.
