yes stability of market is necessary , you cant go long in falling market....and there are not too many short candidates as market is falling , scrips are making 20 days low not highs...

LT 1509.15 (filled) initial SL @ 1504.95 target 1545 or EOD.

amit, LT buy level was @ 1499 + filter(previous 20 day low), and SL was @ 1486(lower of day one low or day two low)

how you decided buy @1509.15 (10 point filter is too big) and SL@ 1504.95.....

The situation got a little out of hand: 1499 did not seem possible as prices had run away. So, I looked up the most current Vwap for entry and SL.

Some really good trades on Monday... very interesting...

Would further filter them out by avoiding the ones in crazy downtrends and poor liquidity, like everon, flexi, gitanjali, shasunpharma etc.

Focus is primarily on the big ones... Cipla, coal, hero etc.. will further narrow them in the first hour...
