Re: ICICIDirect help

online agents have a restrictions in switching from growth to dividend options on ELSS schemes. The fund house has to be contacted directly.

MF bought through online broker

I have bought SBI tax saver through IDBI caps online trading account. If I want to close the account, what will happen to the MF investment?

most probably the bank will sell off your mf units and deposit it in your account.. then you can strip off that amount from your account b4 closing the account..

Check for entry load before u tread these paths!
Mr india
Afaik, they do not charge any entry load unlike icicidirect, sharekhan or agents which charge 2.25% entry load. I will visit their office tomorrow.

I called camsonline office today to know whether it's office will be open tomorrow but the drone sitting there picked up my phone and slammed it back  which made me wonder about the quality of services they provide. Anyway, tx.

Question re ICICIDirect.com

Hello All

Am new to this website and find it very informative.

Am a relatively new investor and recently opened a MF Trading account with icicidirect.com.

I have invested into 3 different funds using SIP.

Trouble is, icicidirect.com only lets me set the maximum tenure for SIP as '24 Months'. has anyone else faced a similar problem? I was ideally looking to invest for 5 years however the maximum tenure on SIP's that I see on my account is 24 months.

Please help.

Thanks
Hemant

Hello!
Though I do not know exactly about ICICI-Direct, but u can extend SIPs beyond pre-determined termination date
by simply putting a request to AMC, once u start receiving acc. statements quoting ur folio no & bank details
