Hello Sir

I tried going through the sites but ended up just confused. Shall attempt again ... on weekends though.

Another thing, just wanted to find out if during the settlement week the decay starts on Monday itself or on Wednesday/Thursday. I mean the markets might bounce back on Monday (seems like) so can I get out of the positions I am stuck in or I will be making losses this month too.

Thanks in advance and best regards

Dear Friend,

Sorry for this delayed reply. See if you have taken (buy call) out of money call that to near expriry then chances of that call to end in profit is very less until Nifty bounces and crosses the strike price with heavy volume.

Decay of options is very fast in the last two days before option expiry i.e. last Thursday of the month.

In the 888options.com look for "New to options ?" column.

Can we buy and sell the options on same day?
e.g. bought call now n sold after an hour or so..

and how is the brokerage calculated ?
Is it charged anywhere between Rs 75-100 per side for basic/small investors?

Thanx..

Hi Friend,

The exchange automatically assigns a price at expiry and it will square off the help positions automatically.

Hi Tulika,

Yeah! Fed cut is expected on 11th and charts shows starting of some volume pull back. I think you can buy a call at 5700 and hedge your positions and wait for the fed cut. Its always advisable not to have any positions before any event such as this and like.
