Ghosh Sir,
Can I buy Nifty 4400 call Sept at 125? It looks cheaper.
Ram
Dear Ram,

It seems you can buy Nifty 4400 call with crude cooling a bit and Dow moving up overnight. Remember to maintain a SL=30% from your buy price and squaring off the position before you call it a day. Next weeks resistence level is around 4400 so be cautious.

planning to sell sept nifty 4500 at 90 and sell put 4200 at 126. any thoughts on this ?

expecting the market to be range bound next 2-3 weeks, then cover both options
Hi Bandlab2,

I think put writing at 4100 and call writing at 4500 seems better option. But try to maintain the cost of call and put write as equal as possible.

Regards

Mr.Ghosh,

I read the topic which is very interesting. I am into trading of stocks for four years now, and so want to try the options. I found that this thread very interesting and would like to do some paper trading as advised by you. I would like to know that you have mentioned that R1-S1 =>300 but < 400.

I would like to know why it is 300 or 400. why not 100 or 200. Excuse me if I sound silly. But please enlighten me on the issue.

Dear Raga,

First of all let me welcome you to this thread.

I have taken R1~S1 >300 and <400 because I have tested this and found this range as the most suitable for trading. Its lesser volatile within this range and chances of making profit is also good.

Do paper trading for atleast 3 months in a row and update me with the results. If it gives you profits 3 months in a row then, only take real trade.

Regards

Dear Raaga,

This range is only true for Nifty options and not for Stock options.

Dear Lalpar,

I guess you bought Nifty 4500 call at 80. Then, its SL= 56(max). and for 4600 call its 43 (max.) . But would advise you to exit from Aug. option positions as expiry is nearing. Do not trade in current month's options after 20th of the month.

Buy next months options as per strategy stated in 1st post.

Regards
this is for September series sir....I have bought for sep series!!
