Hi vjay,

I think you are wrong. according to nifty spot we got trend only @ 3 today. So how come you bought 4400pe @ 10.40.

here i will post todays nifty levels

4180.9 -----> open
4191.55 ----> 10.45 ---- 10.65
4185.9 ------>12.00 ---- -5.65
4128.9 ------>3.00 ---- -57

From open to 10.45 its only 10.65 pts up so Vjay how come you entered @ 10.45. here you should enter only @ 3.

You should buy 4400pe @ 3 and hedge that with 3900ce.

Ghosh I think I am correct.

Yes, Vijay hasn't followed the strategy. He should have bought put at 3:00 (Down trend) at R1=4400 and instead of that he bought wrongly call at S1=3900.

Yes, Vijay hasn't followed the strategy. He should have bought put at 3:00 (Down trend) at R1=4400 and instead of that he bought wrongly call at S1=3900.

If it is the correct then may be I read the data of nifty open wrong.But i checked again .so please check the following chart and clarify me.
also one more doubt is there if today open as flat/sideways then can I hold both positions of put and call.then where to put the s/l.

yes Kvram & Vjay,

In all charts it had showed open @ 4223.9. But according to this strategy we should take 10 A.M spot level. where nifty spot @ 10 is 4187. check it out. It may gave profit but I think we should go by 10 - 10.45 where it suits me well.

Dear Arghali,

As advised earlier, one should not enter into any options of the current month after 20th of the month. One should square off all positions of the current month before 20th of the month.

Unless Nifty closes above 4300 with huge volumes your 4300 call for Sept. will end worthless.

Dear Vijay,

Its true that opening is 4224 yesterday, but I consider opening price as price at 10:00 AM because of initial jitters in opening.

I have answered your query earlier, please see previous posts. SL for all option trades is 30%.
