sir thanks 4 ur guidance. today i use ur Strategy. i buy nifty fu after 10.45 n hold it till 3.25 or book my profit after3.25. this is good or i was wrong to go long in morning. today was my lucky day so i found profit or today i use ur strategy that's why i found profit what u think .pls guide me as a first year student in ur class.

Dear Tomdickpary,

My strategy is for options only not for future. Please go through 1st post of this thread to understand the same. Do paper trading for atleast 3 months and when you are in profit for 3 months in a row then, only start real trade.

I dont know what your Brokergae have the Code for mininifty..NSE website shows "MINIFTY"..

wonder why you want to trade in this Options ..Lot size may be Less..But the Liquidity is very POOR...

I just checked BID & ASK price for PE 3100 OCT.. BUY - 78 & ASK - 134.

Also the OI is 240 & only 1 contaract traded...

Highest traded contract is PE 3800 with 3 contacts & 440 OI (BUY 590 Ask 990 )

Any way if there is any secret in trading Plz Let the other memebrs in this Forum knows about it

sir,today nifty open gap down -78 point. so decide use sideways strategy . nifty was [email protected] and after fifteen minutes @10.45 it was 3138. so i decide go short .but after two hours @12.30 nifty was3082.check the trend[3082-3155] =-73 points so it mean -73>=20points buy call but in morning i was short nifty .so sir how can i decide buy call or hold my put with 30%sl as u say in ur post. nu always sat buy put atR1 OR BUY call at S1 so today's S1was 2800. i am right or wrong .pls correct me.

2>at10.30am nifty was 3155
3>at10.45am nifty was 3138
4>at12.30pm nifty was 3082
5>at 3.00 pm nifty was3077.

nothing special kumar just use to SELL the "call/put option's " in "minifty" and BUY the "call/put option's" in Nifty thats all. Margin will be less. can u correct me ghosh sir

In Nov Series for R1 = 3500 and S1 = 2900

there is big difference in bid and ask prise , more then 50 rs sometimes since it is not very liquid, its hard to buy and sell at the correct time @ 10.45 or @ 12.30 coz of this difference , what you suggest should we trade in Oct Options till liquidity improves in Nov Series ? coz it will only improve next week closer to expiry this week

Please remember that the liquidity will be low for Nov Series till this expiry of this month only.On the othere side,if you trade for October series,you are at very higher risk since the Out Of Money options going to be decayed fast compared to "In the Money" Options.

Dear Rahul/vasanth,

As told earlier Nifty will be very volatile and it has been advised to trade with caution. If you do not see liquidity in Nov. series and you are not comfortable then, do not trade. Gasp for a while and watch the market.

Do not trade in Oct series for sure as it will be very risky proposition.

Its not important to trade everyay but its important to save your hard earned money daily.
