Dear Friends,

For Nifty Future traders who would like to trade as per trend check strategy posted in 1st post of the thread, Nifty levels for tomorrow are as under:

Resistence at 3168
Support at 3020

If you go short 1 lot then, buy 1 lot at money or near money call and if you go long 1 lot then, buy 1 lot at money or near money put to hedge

So far, Nifty has shown positive move upwards. Nifty is trading in oversold zone so be careful on long side. Watchout for 3170 on upper side, a strong resistence area.

Will reco. to square off all your long open positions by EOD on daily basis.

Regards

I have a small question sir,

According to your first post, we consider High And low of last week to enter into trades.
Does that mean starting on Mionday, whatever High and Low of previous week must have been would remain the same for the coming week throughout?

Or is it that we update Hi and Lo taking into consideration one week back from current day. Like, if we are looking to trade on 17 Dec, would we consider Hi & Lo from 8-DEC to 12DEC or from 10-DEC to 16 DEC.

Pls clarify.
thanks
Dear ankitgarg20,

As stated in the 1st post of this thread, R1 and S1 remains same through out the current week starting Mon-Fri. R1 and S1 are calculated based on OHLC of last weeks data starting Mon-Fri data for the last week only.

Thanks a lot sir for clarification.

One more thing if I can ask...It is about the strike price of the options to be bought..
You have mentioned for example that buy PUT @ R1...does that mean we buy puts having strike price near R1 or wait for the nifty to hover around R1 to take positions? What if nifty never trades in that zone ?
And in such case, what strike price options shud be bot?

Thanks

Dear nkitgarg20,

No there is no need to wait for R1 or S1 levels to buy puts or calls. I have never said that, has recommended to buy puts at R1 and calls at S1 as per trend check strategy posted in the 1st post of this thread.
