"If you go by tecnicals you will see that ---
Nifty Put build up at 2800 strike has reached 180k contracts, the highest ever at any strike. As per our earlier experience, whenever Nifty Put OI reached a new high record, the level has been breached and Nifty lost 6 to 10% over the next 10-15 trading sessions."

Now 2500 put strike reached 200k almost 10 trading sessions, but still 2500 not breaked. Any comments.

Happy Trading Day,

Dear Reddy,

You also need to consider other details as well viz. Net % change, order book etc. If you see the details, traders are writing 2500 puts, it means there is support at 2500.

Hi ..the OI build up is not only because of BUYING at that particular strike price..OI also adds up because of put writing...so when there is so much OI its better to check out the details of buyers and sellers over a time to understand which support level the market is looking at...

All the best..

Please let me know how and where do we find out the information how many guys are buying these puts and how many or selling(i.e. put writers),

Dear Reddy,

You can go to nseindia.com and look for "Option Chain" at the right hand side of page and from there you can go to next page, type Nifty and press go to see the desired page. Being there press on "Quote" to go to order book.
