Mr Ghosh,

Thanks for ur comment. I have a few doubts. I hope u wont mind 2 clear it. Suppose previous week R1-S1 is <300>400, then will it be wise to trade during the week in OPTION even though dif is >20 or <20 at 10.30 AM? Your "SidewiseMkt Strategy" is only for Future trading or it can be used for OPTION trd also if Nifty price range within R&S u r daily providing for us. Can we check trend at
11.30, 12.30, 13.30, 14.30 and 3.00pm comparative to Spot Nifty at 10.30am for entering fresh trade for NF or Option ? Hope iam not bothering u with silly ?. My Age (59+) is not on my side hence bothering time 2 time as i want to learn a little bit from Masters like U & Seniors of this informative FORUM. THANKS.............SM
Dear SM,

The weekly R1 and S1 are for options only. I have taken, the said intervals 10:00,10:30 AM (10:45 AM for confirmation), 12:30, 3:00 because I have seen it worked for me. You can take 1 hr diff. intervals as well. Test it if you see this works for 16-20 weeks in a row then, add it to your interval list.

But remember to have SL intraday and by EOD if you want to hold then, always hedge your position. As we are never sure of gap up or down next day.

Support at 4490

If you go short 1 lot then, buy 1 lot at money or near money call and if you go long 1 lot then, buy 1 lot at money or near money put to hedge. Reco. to trade as per trend strategy posted in 1st post of this thread.

Dear Abigbull,

Above R&S given for NF long or short and not for Put/Call. Option to be initiated if R1-S1= >300<400 only. moreover, as only 2 days are left for expiry no option trading shld be initiated. Mr Ghosh if i am wrong please correct me. Thanks
Sibu sir
I understand that the level are to be traded with Nifty Future and then hedged by options ... but can a strategy be made only with the help of options wherein i understand that i will square off my positions before the month end expiry .
thanks in advance

Dear Abigbull , thanks for giving me an oportunity to put a few lines. What i understood u want to trade with OPTIONS only w/o any position with NF. U can. if u buy call at 10.30/10.45 & if its in profit at 3.15pm then buy a put (it will be cheap as CA appreaciated) to protect next day's gap up/dn. This put shld be sq off by 10.15 as its only for hedging & not for any profit ( observe morning H&L upto 10.10 am before SQ OFF of PUT). Next day also do the same if u r in profit & carry on till the last. plz remember dont c/o position if in loss & dont forget 2 aplly SL @ 30% as Mr Ghosh advised. Mr Ghosh plz commenent/rectify my statement...Thanks.....SM
