sirs,

request ur opinions on the following.
1) telco-oct-540-call - bought at 32
2) tisco-oct-540-call - bought at 17.

can i hold on to these for long or should i be squaring them off.

Yes, this is the right thread for any options query.

Well you can exit from TISCO while you can hold TELCO with SL =20 (max.), it closed at CMP=24.

Both these counter looks week, I would have rather written calls at these levels, though would have hedged them too.

Its better to make an exit at the 1st sight of a loss rather than wait for and see it falling.

If you could explain these.
1. Sideways strategy is as under, applicable when R1~S1 <300 or >400. Sir Pl explain.
2. If (R1 - S1) >= 300 and <400 then, Buy calls at S1 and puts at R1 as per trend stated. Sir is it and/or? What does it imply?
3. Bearish market buy more puts. Bullish market buy more calls. Ok Sir, and if market is Sideways, then shall I follow the trend as you mentioned? Or is there any other strategy?
4. If you are very sure that S1/R1 will be broken buy put at S1 / call at R1. Sir Pl explain

Dear Friends,

For Nifty Future traders who would like to trade as per trend check strategy posted in 1st post of the thread, Nifty levels for tomorrow are as under:

Resistence at 5142
Support at 4980

If you go short 1 lot then, buy 1 lot at money or near money call and if you go long 1 lot then, buy 1 lot at money or near money put to hedge. Reco. to trade as per trend strategy posted in 1st post of this thread.
