Dont depend too much on them. They cn even jump 8% or close in red too , real action is in last hour in DOW.
BTW am shocked to see the way Europe is up 8-9-10% up
They have run up quite hardly

Loads of expextations coolboy.. that US govt. wil act.. Along with the good news comes the bad news too... sales, jobs reports gng to be watched carefully..

don't worry the sales report seem to be down.. they are waiting for the stimulus package details.. until they have that confirmed, they may not rally much...

What happens when terror strikes

We all know about the tragedy taking place in Mumbai right now.

On 11 July 2006, we had another such terrorist attack.
We had a series of seven bomb blasts in local trains that day, around 5:30pm.
Over 200 died in those blasts.
Market reaction:
As a show of investor confidence, the Stock Markets rebounded, starting the day with the BSE Sensex up by nearly 1% in morning trade. Foreign investors also retained confidence, with the Sensex up almost 3% at 10,930.09 at the end of the day's trade. (Source-wiki)

May the innocents who died today find peace in heaven, and the terrorists rot in hell . I personally feel that these blasts are an attempt to cow down us Indians and the best response will be to go on with our daily lives as if the blasts never happened.
