Your broker's site should have something like "Stock Filter", atleast Kotak has it and you can filter based on industry,sub industry,ltp,market cap, eps, etc..

penny stocks are not so very good but if anyone is interested in investing for 2-4 years and forget then why penny stock? you can invest in a company like satyam which can give you decent return in 3-5years dont be surprise of over 200% return in satyam from now.

look for high beta company and invest them with a target of 3-5 years and do not forget to book your profit when sensex touch or cross 21000. High beta companies move ahead of market so any gain in market and they will rise more than overall market, similar in case of any fall they fall more and quickly.
