hi ST,
a follow up query on money management..
seniors on TJ have often advised us not to risk more than 1-1.5% of our capital on a trade.. how many such trades can one take simultaneously..? is there a number u follow..?
thanks..!
1%-1.5% on a trade you can trade 2 trades simultaneously if the trades are in correlated markets.....you can take a third trade only if the stops of earlier 2 trades move closer to the entry point or one of the trades become riskfree....by correlated markets I meant Nifty and Bank Nifty or any other stock....
In daytrades never exceed 1% and 2 trades at a time.
If you are trading noncorrelated markets such as indices, stocks, commodities, forex etc you can go with 3 trades at a time max......
Never let your risk exceed 2-3 % of the capital at any given point of time.....
