Rules and guidelines may work for a few but they don't for a mob. At least not for us, the people of India - which is fast becoming 'must visit' rape capital of the world despite having the age old tradition of equating woman with gods and godesses. My personal suggestion to TJ admin would be this:
Let the whole forum become commo sort of forum. Total sattaa market. And make that punjabi putr, Mastertrader007, it super moderator.
This wise move will do 2 things in 1 go.
1. It will free our beloved ST bhai from the job of a constable (aka moderator), thereby making him one of us. He is a real cool dude and this 'khaki vardi' doesn't suit him. Of course, if he is getting paid in cash or in kind for the job, or getting some personal satisfaction out of it, then the matter is different.
2. Having Mastertrader as 'inspector general' (with billa number 007 :lol of the forum not only will free TJ from some loud-mouth idiots bent on destroying good threads (very few left anyway), but also free TJ admin from day to day headache of scanning threads. Because, let us face the fact, TJ is no longer a place which people like Saint graced with their presence once upon a time. Newbies would spend grateful hours here learning from the masters of trading. Now it is just a long row of stalls manned by brokers, get-rich-quick guys, call givers, parrot-brand forecasters and what not. That is, it is more like a machali-baazar with all the stink and noise inherent to such baazars. In my view, only ST bhai is left of that old school. Of course, people who want to learn the ropes of trading, still come here. But they have to go through archives to learn anything worthwhile.
So stop pretending that you are some 'do gooders' who are born to make the world a better place. You are not, sorry. Just be the real men and accept this reality that TJ is just place to generate hefty ad revenue in lieu for letting people come together and have a bit of fun and chit chat (and gaali-gloz sometimes).

No Ashish bhai, I am not fascinated with anyone here. Because nobody is actually there, you know. Barring 4-5 guys, who are my real life friends, everyone else here is just a virtual friend with virtual ID. Nor I am in some kind of judgemental mode.
Although I laughed heartily at the spat between you and MT. However, he blew his top and got abusive which is not something to be condoned anyway. Having said that, I think we owe it to ourselves as to know why he did so. And for that, one doesn't have to go to some oracle; we all know. This is a sh*tty excuse that one should have thick skin. Why? Has some resolution been passed in UNO to that effect? What if one has paper thin skin? Doesn't that person have right to live his life? Only dead have thick skin. Otherwise everybody hurts when hit.
Look bro, arguments are but natural in any public forum. Teasing and a little bit ridicule once a while also goes. (God knows I myself am guilty as charged when SG and Raunak were around. I called Mr.TJ Tom&Jerry many a time in anger. Even I had heated exchange of word with ST once!). But insidious heckling, just for the heck of it, is not something very becoming of a person who likes to call him/herself a trader.
I think we all are matured enough to know when we are, and when not, welcome in a particular thread. And we should accept that and move on. We all come here to share, care and have little bit fun while at it. After that we all live our separate lives. So long we are here, I guess we should all endevour to make each other's stay pleasant. Not something very costly to ask, I feel.
Anyway, I am not here to tell people how to behave. I come here to spend some time among fellow traders and try to have a some fruitful disscusion or laugh with them. The day I feel that it is no longer the case, I will just click off without any anger or remorse. No staying with losing positions, be it in market or life. Trading business teaches one this beauty.

Yes, I saw the posts in the morning, minutes before the thread went offline. Real dog fight, man. Unmissable, so to speak.
However, I am concerned as to what might be going on right now, or might have happened since the fight was cut short by the TJ. I mean, what if MT or MTK felt 'betrayed' for not getting enough chance to vent out the venom? Don't you think it is logical ki kahin aur ya kisi aur pe gussa nikala gaya ho? Entirely possible that somewhere perhaps some wife must be sulking in some dark corner or worse, koi bachchaa abhi tak waan-waan karta ro raha ho ki papa ne muft mein thappad maara subhe subhe ... One should keep one's imagination well oiled all the time and let it run away it sometimes, you know... :lol:

Thats surprising but there is no point in posting daily updates. Daily updates will make you succumb to itches. But no update will make you lose the interest over time. A monthly update should be fine at a fixed day and time. Be honest and happy about what you post gain/loss, so you can avoid temptation to post rapidfire gains by violating your own rules.
However when you break rules you should follow this logic. We cannot expect to not violate rules at all in a complex market environment. Hence you should allow margins for occasional violations provided they arent significant enough to demoralize. And we can overcome regret if we convince ourselves that what is done couldnt be avoided. This way you will think many times before making mistakes or when itching hands to do only that which cant be avoided at the time.
