How to believe a system?
Only option is back testing. No other go.

i think 'Do it urself' is the way to go, but there is also another way to believe in a system. It would be when you have complete faith in the one which guides you, it may be a person or a system...it say's jump into a river you jump without any question, that kind of faith. Like our baba's have devotee's :lol:. But i dunno if they can develop as a trader without questioning what they are doing ...

Ok even after back testing and found good results and based on that once we entered the market and unfortunately market goes against as, to what extend we can continue our belief?

If suppose you decide to take 15 trades and you lost money in it overall then you should definitely look at your system.
But if you decided to take 15 trades and lost few in beginning and then are tweaking your system then definitely you have some conflicting beliefs which are hurting you.

Might be very strong bulls day .. if gap up and market steady for next 20 minutes i will go long with large position.. if market open flat then no second thought-- simply go long .. but will wind up at EOD
