Since more than 90 % of day traders fail, maybe you can make this generic comment.

But, people having portfolios have also lost money in the last 5 years, so maybe that is also darkness? no light at the end of the tunnel?

90 % of scrips have also underperformed.... so people should stop investments too?

It is positional ..to me intraday (day trading ) is some thing that does not exist in reality ... It like darkness which in fact doesn't exist on its own .. Darkness is nothing but absence of light .. There is no such thing called day trading

Partly agree with Stock72. There are times when Intraday is profitable and there are times when only Positional Trades are profitable. From Aug-13, If someone blindly traded whenever market moved 200-250 points, then they would have made enough profit. For example, when market daily moves 100+ points daily, the Traditional Stoploss of say 20 points in NIFTY Futures do not work.

Again u got me wrong ... I have not asked you that question with any hidden meaning ...
just to analysis ..

when some one say some thing when he is at rock bottom we usually taking it as light and extend our hands to help him and try to correct him . when he says some thing while he is doing some what ok .. we are not following our same stand to help him or correct him.. so what the differnce? ..
