What you started doing was right things, the startegies are never wrong but you was not able to get the direction of the market.

There is three things in Options trading 1) Options startegy 2) Direction of moment and 3) Speed of moment.

Only when all the before things are right we can regular make profit from trading in Options. I think in your case, you could not get 2 and 3 point right or even one of that two points right. This is enoghf go make loss in Option trading. Even if we do not get point 3 incorrect we can go in loss.

I think what you now doing is taking a reverse gaer and gambling, if you allready know option starteges and understand it, it is very good thing. I tell you kindly focus on point 2 and 3 and make method to master it, then only option trading will profit other wise even one wrong trade will wipe your entire capital.

Thanks for your advise. by the way market to wipe out 40 times to take all my capitial alloted for gambling . means on any wrong gamble i will loose only 2.5% of my capitial. I am reapeating for every thousand rs of profit the exposed captial is 10 to 15 k which is 2.5% of captial alloted for gambling.

I dont know whether I should give u advice or not... bcz I'm already a looser.. but I have learned one thing from this market is: DO NOT TRADE DAILY LIKE AN ADDICT... WAIT FOR ATLEAST 5-7 DAYS AND THEN MAKE A POSITION.... i.e. in current market wait for the market to go eighter @6050-6100 or 5700-5750 and then take a contra position...buy itm/atm puts on 6100 & itm/atm calls on 5680-5720 levels... and hedge your position with 100-200 more deeper otm calls/puts with same size.... and wait for a decent move....

Note : Sold 2 lots and Holding 38 lots of 6100 CE ( opened on 14-dec). seems missed today best change of closing these with a minimum loss .... really little confused on this position

Note : 1) Out of 40 lots of 6100 CE opened on 14th dec sold 26 lots so far with some losses and holding 14 lots. after closing these 14 lots needs to account the total loss on this .
2) Holding 4 lots of jan futures to close tommorow
3) holding 6 lots of 6000 PE to close tommorow.

22-12-2010-Gambling LOSS 23K . so number now -1520-23K=-1543k

Note : 1) Out of 40 lots of 6100 CE opened on 14th dec sold the remaining 14 lots today and total loss in this regard = 28k
2) 4 lots of jan futures closed today with a profit of 3k
3) 6 lots of 6000 PE closed with break even.
4) Today gambling profit 2k. All are accounted above.

Seems so far around 10k profit for dec and this icici beggers will give some option incentive like 20 k i think to this begger ....

Do you trade in office during market hours ?
