just a suggestion! since ur capital is huge, why don't you try straddles/strangles?

You would score decent profits if the market is trending any side & even if the market is range bound, ur losses will be limited!

With the amount of capital you have, you can easily try hedging strategies!:thumb:

donot see 16 as 16 ... when i loss first 1.5 lakhs -- it is huge amount for me that time when compared to the lastest losses though it is in many lakhs...

Yes ok, but it still does not add up....when you lost 1.5 lakhs, why did you have to invest again in something that made you lose 1.5 lakhs ?

And with a capital of 16 lakhs, didn't you have a dealer or advisor to guide ? I mean...obviously with this kind of capital exposure, I would want a dealer to state his/her opinions and then I take the final call...

I would listen to all, but take a decision based on my instinct and thats what most traders do....

For yourself, the SIP route to some growth mutual fund like HDFC Top 200 or DSP Blackrock equity should be good enough for a time horizon of 15-20 years to recover most of your losses, so quit trading and start investing in these funds right now!

Frankly I have observed this sane advice. During the process of learning for last 6/7 years through continuos development I am really Buying those setups which I used to sell 5/6 years back and making profit.
