Price Action Trading Method.

@murthyavr,

Dear , what is the matter :hug::hug: , you seems be to confused today.:D

the bar formed @ 5075 is a pin because it has long nose and it open and close are above the low(eye) the bar before it and the close is in the top 1/3 of the bar.

you don't have to wait for the green bar after the pin to get a confirmation.

:cheers:

Murthy and others , if you are not clear about pin bars let me know i will post most stuff on pin bars. Note sometimes you may find things a bit advanced. Do not worry. It will take sometime to understand this.

neuron_sun,

I have not read anything like that before. Can you post the link which shows the 3 bar formation.

Pinbar is a single bar pattern, it cannot be a 3 bar pattern. This bar pattern is very detailed in Marting Pring's book. He was the one who found the pattern.

you are using pinbar and support lines in a very strange way, in which book you have read about pinbar and seen martin using like this? don't get me wrong, i am not questioning your understanding or concept, even not talking about 1-bar or 3-bar, these all are jargon and depends how individual use.

what i want is to read this concept again as read martin's books before, and also to understand its use properly. So, whenever possible, tell book's name and page numbers in which martin explained & gave working example for using pinbar to enter in a trade.

whether is it martin's or any other tom dick or harry's method, does it really matter as long as the trades are good. traderdude never said it is anyone's method. it is his own method (i think..), a combination of various things he learnt in various forums and books. he is just sharing what gives him profits :)

there is some misunderstanding. i already told it was not a question on concept. traderdude using many things other than pinbar and i am only interested in understanding how to use pinbar for entry. i don't expect traderdude or anybody give tution on that, so thought it will be better to understand pinbar concept from the founder himself. And it matter a lot, because every pattern have unique psychology, pro and cons, conditions in which they have high success rate. so, it is better to see good & bad examples available before putting real money.

and don't know whether martin is founder or not, got this info from the post by traderdude-
