No crossover happened manoj....saved by a whisker again...

I am seeing a clear crossover in SK-TT. Do you wait till close of the bar to see crossover. I exited on seeing the crossover of stoch and not waited for close. ( As suggested by Pride.... for exit he said that exit on crossover .. do not wait for close of bar )

But I personally feel that we should wait for the close. And.now n close also there is clear crossover of stoch on 5 min.

I think we need to make some modifications ( based on backtesting) for entry as well as exit.

In my charts crossover didnt happen although the charts touched, may be i didnt look at the chart at the instant of crossover....currently crossover hasnt happened in my chart....

Hello everybody, I want to know the time upto which one can trade intraday in both BSE & NSE? I found that in Reliance money one can trade only upto 2:50 p.m.

i've been a bit busy, so couldnt continue posting on this thread. i am happy that people are still taking interest in this strategy.

but there seems to be a lot of confusion regarding the rules...

firstly, if you would have gone through the entire thread, it has been mentioned that we need not consider OB/OS condition of 30min Stoch. look for that only in 5min stoch.

also, it is ok if you want to take positions before 10:30 AM. it is just my personal preference to wait for the market to settle down before I start trading.

thirdly, please follow the stoploss rules if you want to trade this strategy. i can see some of you guys are using arbitrary stops and losing more money when these stops get hit.

you guys should also understand that every rule of this strategy cannot be implemented perfectly...it is ok if sometimes the stoch crossover happens a couple of minutes after the ema crossover, or some other type of misalignment happens..we just need to use our judgement and go with the trade.

for me, there was just one trade today...short around 4477 @ 12:05 and covered around 4443 at 12:45.

Today throughout the day 30 min Stochastic was overbought.
There was no trade. If you ignore 30min overbought condition then trades are as follows:

dear skr, your entries are completely wrong. we enter only on ema crossovers...please read the first post of this thread to understand how to initiate the trade.

Welcome back Pride...If u get time, do backtest this strategy for first 2 weeks of July excluding budget day and post the traades. This was one time when this strat generated a string of loosing trades.

since 29th june, I've traded on just three days; thursday, friday and today...so I dont know what happened back then...i'll see if i can get some time to take a look at this...

for the time being, lets just assume that no system is correct all of the time...and we are bound to get losing streaks as well...

i would advise you to use this scalping system just as an add-on to your regular trading...
