Hello Satyen

In the above case we can have a sell stop order in place around 4316/15, that would be below the low of previous candle (4317),

But inspite of that it can always trigger and turn back before the close

So as for the system goes waiting for close should be the written rule :)

It is always better to wait till the current bar which we feel will trigger buy/sell completes...in our eagerness to catch the trade early,we will get some false starts which could prove costly.

Some info on the Indicators used in this system and Time Period involved

In our case the period used for stoch is 8

Stoch = (Close - Lowest Low value of last 8 bars) / (8 bars HHV - LLV)

so delay of 5 x 8 = 40 minutes

% K uses avg of 3, so another delay of 10 mins = 50 Mins

% D uses avg of 4, so another delay of 15 Minutes = 65 Mins

Similarly EMA 13, also take 65 Mins to get rid of yesterdays effect.

So after 11 am, there will be no impact of yesterdays price on 5 Mins TF

Where as for 30 Mins TF it will always carry info of price data (or lag) for last 13 bars ~ cummulative effect of 1 day on rolling basis.

Thanks

thanx Raja.......nice insight into the system......

I have been checking the trades levels EOD for last 2-3 days and have a feeling that some of us take early positions before the bar completes....nothing wrong in taking aggressive positions but then be fast enough to get out of it if at the end of the bar ,trade does not trigger.....
