Hi SR,

I am not a big fan of modified candles....still looking at the chart...I would say atleast short term trend is up keeping the double bottom seen as the support and perhaps 5084 would be the first Target for this up move....!!!

SG,

all modified HA charts are showing the stuff where the normal 1 are devoid of this. now seeing this in a chart naturally we are inquisitive as what's happening. as the market is falling then this occurs means that at least we have some up move. got the point. was just flipping the pix of nifty in those modified HA afls.

thanks for the reply

regards
sr

It this considered a valid entry. It is meeting all the requirements but the values are too close (NOTE: I do not have lot of historical data.. EMA 50 is showing from MAY17)
Hi Nmds,

Yes, it is a valid entry from the markings on chart you will notice thick dotted red line as being Initial S/L because of Bar Split, instead of Swing Low which has been also marked on the chart with thick red line.

Few other things annotated on the chart is Position Sizing.
Where the Total Fund size is considered at 50,000 and 10 percent (5000) is considered as allocation for a single equity resulting in 56 number of shares to be bought.

Hi SG

Have I marked them correctly? Ever since short activated, the stock has moved up!!

I've traded this stock on intraday basis for a rupee. Currently short @ 148 on Friday, Closed @ 151, could not cover. I am wondering about my markings as to why the stock has not moved down. Also if I zoom out, EMA 50 appears flat, does that indicate trend reversal and no need to wait for SL 157.95 to hit?

Hi Dinesh,

Please check the chart for correct marking and reasons...!!!

I would not have advised entering the second short......because EMA is showing signs of flattening out....perhaps only if a shoulder is formed by the MAs and weakness thereafter....will see if the shoulder is formed in coming trading sessions....will post the chart again....Notice the last two candles having formed a Bar splice considering both the candles are Bullish therefore one would expect the trend to be up for sometime...... !!!

If you squeeze the picture HORIZONTALLY ,the picture may appear in a better
way.

I'll have to reconsider my short position on Monday!

Have you already explained 'Bar splice' and 'Bar split'? May be I missed it. Would be nice if you could point me to that post!

Forum search only brings me to this thread!!
