The brokerage of 9 Rs per lot is often misleading .But if you add taxes then
it will boil down to 100 Rs for 2 lots (Buy+Sell).That is 50/- per lot.Still it is
cheaper.

No, it is not at all misleading. Brokerage is brokerage and Taxes are taxes.
U cannot bargain for taxes unless Govt. of India reduces or abolishes any taxes. Taxes are nearly equal in all broking houses.
So if Brokerage + Taxes = Rs. 100 in RKG, it will be Rs. 200 with another broker if he charges 0.02% on Nifty futures.
Compare only the brokerage and the service tax (bcoz ser. tax is on brokerage).

Have you calculated if Nifty futures delivery brokerage is 10 paisa how much it becomes ?
One lot buying and selling of Nifty futures will cost Rs.550. Including service tax it will be more than Rs. 600 whereas in RKG it is only Rs. 18 i.e including service tax it will be Rs. 20

Agree with you 100%.Comparison of RKG's brokerage only with that another
(brokerage+taxes) often misleads.RKG's brokerage is 9/- per lot ,but including
taxes ,it comes to 50/- roughly.Taxes and other charges are the same for
all brokers.But since service tax is charged on brokerage,if a broker charges
higher then the total charges will also increase.

can odin work on two different machines?...my lappy is out ...and i installed odin on my PC..but its givin login problems...BTW we cant use TTADV of IIFL ON TWO DIFFERENT MACHINES....and rkg netlite also giving problems...

BTW we can use TTADV of IIFL ON TWO DIFFERENT MACHINES

and we can use ODIN of RKG ON TWO DIFFERENT MACHINES

I want only EOD. I heard that EOD-data can get free of cost, just you have to install the software (amibrokar ,metastock)

If you have Amibroker or other software, getbhavcopy from Hemen Kapadia is the best free utility to download eod data. You can get it from getbhavcopy.com

Download data using the utility and then upload the data to charting software.
