R K Global Issues!

This problem is understood by RKG clients better.

In NET POSITION in RKG ,we have 2 sub-divisions namely
DAILY and EXPIRY.Suppose we have a position taken few
days ago, then it is reflected in Expiry.

If Net Position reflects both ,It will be good.

I am using Religare, It is same as RK Global.

Daily - it is on that particular day. Useful for peoples doing intraday. (like position on hand, shorting - need to squre same day for equities)

Expiry - total portifolio - can check our total worth at market time

Under FUTIDX, RKG's Odin Diet shows new symbols that were not there previously. For example, NIFTY-1, CNXIT-2, BANKNIFTY-3, etc. Similarly, under FUTSTK, you have ABAN-1, ABAN-2 but not ABAN-3.

Normally, these symbol patterns are used to indicate near month, far month values. However, NIFTY-1 shows a Last Traded Price of 15.00 (NIFTY 25Mar10 @ 5212, discount -3). Also, Best5 shows strange LTQ and peculiar previous close price.

Any clues?

I have no objection in having separate Expiry and Day positions.
But both should be displayed simultaneously.Otherwise it leads to
confusion.
For example ,you had 150 nifty future position at the beginning
of the day.Say,you squared off 50 futures. Then RKG shows 100 in
expiry and 50 in day.Sharekhan simply shows 100 which is correct,
I feel.

Re: Stop loss did not work

This is a new one, and very unexpected and alarming.

Yesterday, a stop loss order did not trigger. In the image below, the buy stop loss was at 5353.10 for order number 4. It did not trigger. Tried modifying it but still did not work. Eventually, had to convert it to a limit buy order.

This occurred again once today but do not have a snapshot.

Has anybody else faced this issue?
