Friends....

Recently started ODIN account with RKG... But it failed to provide what I was looking for.. ODIN does not give continuous intraday chart... say.. 30 min chart for last 1 month... Intraday chart is only for the current trading day... Also the software is not so user friendly... I was not able to figure out my current open position... There is no direct link for a square off order.... You cannot check your trades executed for last 8-10 days... Only trades executed on current day are visible.... and many more issues... I have switched to their web based account....

I also have account with ICICIdirect and it is really complete in all respects. Their web page has very simple menus and answer to all questions..?? Though it is a bit costly in terms of brokerage.... But.... remember... Mehanga roye ek bar.... sasta roye bar bar..

Personally not happy with RKG... :( :( :(

RK's Odin is working great for me as well. But for chart, its the worst to use! For live charting purpose, I have sharekhan tradetiger a/c as well and charting is good. So, I use to watch live chart on tradetiger and take positions on RK Global :D

being an ex-RK customer and current Zerodha customer, i give my review here:

a) platform - Zerodha uses NOW, while RK uses ODIN. Both are good. What stands apart is Zerodha uses something called "co-located" servers, so that the quotes displayed on screen are almost real-time. No such with RK.

b) brokerage - RK wins as long as you are a 1/2 lot player. Zerodha becomes attractive at around 3/4 lots at a time.

c) Services n leverage - leverage wise both of them are strict and follow rules. Service - Zerodha wins for its customer service and prompt action.

all the best.

I trade huge volumes... like really huge.. mostly commodities.. for me RKG wins hands down.. I've not had a single problem in the past two and a half years.

I don't know about equities, but commodities I haven't found someone to match their brokerage.

Anyways, my personal feeling having traded both commodities and equities is that its way easier to make money in commodities, specially if you want to stick to purely daytrading.
