alex sir
want to know one thing as u told watch open interest for options but one thing is confusing where to see rise in OI in call or put at CMP I work in options n watch mostly that if call is not breaking n put rising buy call n vice versa.off course i watch levels of nifty too as suggested by seniors in other thread but i know technically it is wrong can u tell me wat is the best way to enter.I tried ghosh sirs system too on paper work but that 30% stop loss is huge if a sudden change appear but still it is success in last 24 trade i did with that got succeess in 17 times.thnx in advance
hi praveen congrats for making progress in options:),
i didnt get ur qs,point me if m understanding correctly ,
if u want to see open interest there is column on o.i. on ur trading terminal,go through this,or ask the broker( i use odin,& neat n its in column profile settings)and if u want to compare current o.i. with historic o.i. kotaksecurities.com is helpful( though m not sure its allows user for free access that section,if not search4google)
& about dilemma of s/l i rely on indicators of technical analysis, boilinger band, vix r helpful,( adx is most helpful 4me).
s/l is very personal thing,it varies from person to person with his risk profile.

hi praveen,
yes u have to note it down, see my nifty posts,
http://www.traderji.com/derivatives/23573-nifty-futures-trading-part-2-positional-post217076.html#post217076

i copy pest o.i. p/c ratio, most active calls, puts..this is the only way to check microscopic details.
Options o.i will change by buying or selling, but if call o.i increasing and market is falling that means, big money selling calls, or selling nifty by buying calls, this way or that rising o.i in call with falling market is negative,
in last two three days o.i in call rose more than put, so
o.i. put/call ratio = o.i. of put / o.i. in call value is less than 1 , bears r active.

sbi is bearish but + ve crossover might stay away shorts. In columbus's now famous SIR ( sbi, infy, ril)sbi is the only trump card for bulls.
update on chess position- bulls playing with a knight & bishop down:),only thing to watch out for is whether its a sacrifice to win the positional advantage? :D
