Real Time Data Now / Nest Trader to Amibroker, Fcharts

Though, I did not see rtd man windows yesterday, On friday it was showing rtd active.
Today I will try with ViewBarData=1. With this I will start RTDMan from folder today.

Sorry that ini file was corrected from APR to MAY on friday itself. Hence in rtdman window also showed the same and active.
I do not know the significance of Preserve. I kept default. Can I know what does Preserve does?

Preserve keeps the desired number of scrips as it is in the settings. Watch the videos then you will understand

I watched the videos. I think there is no audio in video. Am I correct? Or to me audio is not audible?
Today Data feed works.
But many ticks are missing.
Any solution to avoid/reduce missing ticks.

There is no audio.

Bar period= 0 and refreshperiod=250 catches 99.5% ticks. If you are not getting, revert to Barperiod=1000 and RefreshPeriod=500 or 1000

Before hitting ''STARTRTD''
1)Try With Temp CSV folder path In setting as C:/RTD/ Rather than R:/RTD/
2)Keep Upadte/Preserve setting As ''Yes'' and Once updated desired scrips you may turn it as ''No''
3)open BACKFILL select desired scripts and hit ''STRATRTD'' in Backfill window rather than hitting ''BACKFILL''
4) check in setting INI file whether all desired scripts are there and updated if yes then hit ''STOPRTD" wait for few sec and againg hit ''STARTRTD"
It takes few seconds to launch AB after you hit ''STARTRTD".

If we increase BarPeriod and RefreshPeriod, will it not decrease ticks picked up?

RefreshPeriod - I have said this before, This does not impact accuracy. RTDMan will pick all ticks sent from Nest/Now irrespective of RefreshPeriod. RTDServer calls us everytime it has new data and RTDMan then reads prices everytime RTDServer calls us. All of these ticks are buffered to an OHLC bar and RefreshPeriod determines what is the interval between Amibroker updates.

So keeping it low with ms timestamps reduces buffer time period. So you will get say 3-4 updates per second instead of one. But net OHLC of both cases for that duration will be same.

btw, josh how did you add ms to timestamp? Are you using system time instead of ltt ?

Tried to Import Data To ninjatrader from R:/RTD/ data text file , says imported successfully but there is nothing updated on chart.
@Josh can Plz through some light on Ninjatrader Backfill!
