Real Time Data Now / Nest Trader to Amibroker, Fcharts

I want to know, is it a requirement to run RTD 1.4 and others like NestTrader and Amibroker to run as administrator. I am asking this, bcoz whenever I miss to run any one of these without admin rights, I get all sort of errors. And I have to repeat procedure again.

Secondly, is there a way to delink opening/closing of amibroker with RTD open and close.

According to the video rtd 1.4 does not need admin rights.
if u followed the video exactly there wont be any error.

Thanks for your help. I have watched all videos while installing RTD, but did not get any help for this problem. Perhaps I may have missed that particular point. Can you please pinpoint me the solution

If u could have seen this post in previous page may be it would have helped.
BTW i think if u install programs out of program files then the prob may solve.
Regarding ur second query abt delinking ami, i have no idea...

NOW to AMI RTD 1.40
Install NOW, Amibroker , Nest plus/RTD 1.40 out of Program files but within C drive.
Now Columns : Trading Symbol, Exchange, Series/Expiry, Expiry date, Option type, Instrument Name, Strike Price, Open Interest, Volume Traded today, Lot Qty ( or Min lot Qty) LTT, Symbol, LTP, Bid rate , Ask rate.
Hourly Statistics: Time, Open ,High, Low, Close, Differential Volume, Open Interest, Date, Vwap Value, Cumulative volume, Record No, Cumulative Open Interest(keep all available colums in NOW as it is )
Amibroker Database :
Install same drive where Amibroker is installed,
Database setting: No of Bar 30000,Local database,enable Local datastorage
Base time interval : Tick
Intraday setting Show day & night session only .. Day 9.15-15.30 night 15.30-23.30
Daytime compression : exchange time,tick request data on save(external RT sources only)Ok Ok save
Then Tools>preference>intraday>Start time of interval
Installing DataRAM disk
http://memory.dataram.com/products-and-services/software/ramdisk
download and install , keep 5 mb disk space
Settings
When I click start –create a new FAT disk
Using 5 mb of max 1024 mb
Leave it unlabled and do not create a Temp directory
When I make change to the files on the disk do not save them: Done




Installing RTD 1.40
Install in C drive outside of program file folder

Open NOW , Amibroker, RTD 1.40
RTD 1.40 Settings
Nest/NOW window : ZT (welcome) NOW ( NOW1.13)
Temporary CSV folder : Ram disk drive path ..say H:\RTD\
Plus data table delay in sec: 5
Rename file as symbol + -1/-F1/_F1 etc : whatever you choose
Plus chart open : no
Terminal Nest/Now : as per your
Delete quotes : no
No of Vwap get data try : 3
Minimize data on backfill : no
Candle time frame 0 I 1 sec I 1 min : 0
Hide RTD window : don’t hide
My nest version is above 3.10.57.99
Update RTD scrips/preserve : yes and no of scrips in watchlist
Request /refresh amibroker 5.30 and below : 0
Bel wait time : 30
Client AB/Ninja : AB
Chart refresh period : 250
Bid ask rates : No Bid ask Qty : No
Archive : false
Done
RUN all SWs "NOT" as Adminstrator
Open sequence ..NOW/ZT then Amibroker then RTD 1.40
Check the INI file button and no of scrips there.
Run RTD and do backfilling from Nest Plus …then see the INI file contains the scrips in your watchlist or not .. complete backfill stop RTD save RTD… exit ….. start again and start RT data ..its done .
Backfill setting Nest or Vwap ..make time 9.15 to 15.35 .. start RTD and then backfill

Thanks for suggestions. I have installed RTD in C drive, but Amibroker and NestTrader are installed in program files. I will reinstall these 2 in C drive as well, this weekend. Thanks again.

UnFortunately Repeat posts on this thread are NOT Overwriting .


Abt ur Issue:
Boring Solution : BackFill with a Different Scrip Name (like NIFTY-B) and then MERGE --> this will not overwrite.

Easy Solution: Use VWAP table for BackFill, It has "OpenInterest" column and Reliable too.
