Dear Josh/SR114
I have windows8 laptop. By opening with admn privileges, I could get real time feed in ami.
To avoid using admn, I installed windows xp as guest os in virtual box. I installed zt, office2007 and ami 32bit in xp virtual machine. The database is normal in laptop folder which was updated previously using windows 8. The same folder was mounted in virtual box as \\vboxsvr\<foldername> as drive G:. I could open in amibroker and in path place, it shows G:\. I have entered the same in excel file rtnow.xlsm. Though excel is getting updated with data from zt, ami is not getting updated. Any suggestions, please?

1. Check the permissions of your shared folder from Virtualbox Devices menu. Have you given full Read/write access?
2. If full access is given, share folder one level above. That is if you have shared folder C:\Program files\Amibroker, share the folder 'Program files' instead
3. What is about admin privilege? If your normal user has admin privileges, that will do. However, you should not be running the program as Administrator.

May be I was not clear.
In windows XP( as guset OS), I have all programs ie excel, amibroker and zt.
Only database is in shared folder which has full read and write permission and is shown as G: drive.
I have also copied data base to a folder in XP itself. Still update to database is not taking place.

Well,
1.Check that RTNOW has created C:\RT folder and writing the file MyCSV.txt there.
2.If it is there, open in notepad and check its contents.
3.You have not stated whether RTNOW is opening Amibroker automatically.

Have a look at the messages in NOW. Getting real time feed in excel is the first step. Check whether your RTD server is activated by your broker.

Thanks. Josh.
RTNOW is opening Amibroker automatically.
Problem was with ramdisk. It has started but in unformatted way. Hence no drive letter. Now I could get data feed.
Is there any possibility to get datafeed from nest to amibroker without giving admn privileges to starting nest trade and excel in windows7/8?
