RTNOW is opening Amibroker automatically.
Problem was with ramdisk. It has started but in unformatted way. Hence no drive letter. Now I could get data feed.
Is there any possibility to get datafeed from nest to amibroker without giving admn privileges to starting nest trade and excel in windows7/8?

I installed Zerodha Trader (Nest3) in XP and using it for 45 scrips smoothly at 3 seconds refresh period. I have not tried lesser refresh period as it is not worth it in my opinion.

I just had to open Excel - Options and add Nest3 folder to Trust Center. In my opinion RTNOW will work whether it is XP or Win7/8 without admin previliges.

Why are you using RTMS dear? It is for Metastock. If you want Amibroker, use RTNOW.

In xp, it works with out admn privilege. But in windows 7 and 8, nest to rtnow is not working with out admn privilege for me. When I tried with out admn privilege, it did not work. I was asked by zerodha to use admn for nest to rtnow feed using excel link.

I followed same procedure, but now when i shifted to office 2010, even quotes in excel are not coming up
Any compatibility issue?, or i'm missing something, hidden in so many posts?

put the NOW and its sub folder in excel's trusted location. (see the trusted location in excel option-trusted services)
it will run then.
for putting in trusted location, u pls consult the manual

put ur NOW/Nest Trder/Odin in excel 2010 trusted location
