Dear Josh,

The issue of Amibroker db is resolved now and I am able to get data in Amibroker from RTOdin.xls.
Now another question - how can I backfill data from past few days? Is it possible from ODIN, if yes then could you pls share the procedure?
I tried to dig in this thread, somewhere it is mentioned to refer to RohitB's thread but I could not get meaningful info from that thread.

Also I find that ODIN provides only half an hour data in Market Movement menu for current day.

I would appreciate if anyone else using ODIN to backfill data to Amibroker. Thanks all for your help.

In ODIN right click any scrip which you want backfill,click on intraday chart,
on chart space right click,in the sub menu click save,and click save chart as xls then you can import via import wizard

Thanks Sikandar, I am able to backfill today's data from ODIN to Amibroker. Any idea how can I get data last 5-6 days data from ODIN? It is not that urgent but just wanted to understand. The issue I may face that my machine may be off for some time during trading hours so in that case i will have to manually backfill data for each script. Is there any better way to avoid this situation?

Another question - might be silly, can I import EOD data in IEOD database? The reason is that I may plot some trendlines/support lines etc based on weekly/daily chart which I would like to see during market hours on IEOD charts? Is it possible?

Hi josh, I am trying to configure RTNOW made by you but unable to do the same. Can you help me out by checking my settings? Really keen to use this as I am using NOW as my trading terminal.

Yes you can do last 5 day data and as well eod
you need to set, in odin click tools-preference-chartpreference tab and set there wat you want and do previous explained steps

How can anybody help with one line of information. You have to specify your system details and what you have done

I have done all as per specified in first post and in video presentation by Mr Kanitkar ..

I have made RTNOW Trusted folder... then I have made Settings in Nesttrader as given in first page... like required columns....(I am using from BMA Wealth Creators) Then selected all and copied to RTNOW.xlsm.... and all link to excel.... but still it does not update quotes to excel...

What is you operating system? Windows 7 has some security issues. Try in XP first to find out whether your RTD server is enabled by broker. 64 bit Office is also does not support RTD.
