hi sunny,

i have encountered a strange problem with the new manshirt. I have completely deleted the old manshirt folder with all the files in it (deleted all files including manshirt plugin in amibroker plugin directory). A fresh install was carried out (extracted the new manshirt of 31-12-09) in the manshirt folder, copied manshirt.dll in amibroker pluginn folder and started fresh. The rt data started from 09:56 and was saved with date 03-01-2010. This was till 11:01am. Then the rt data is saved with 04-01-2010 and starting time of 10:13am. The data feed stopped at 15:16. Can you look into it? There was no break in net connection and system clock is working correctly.

just try backfill again. You will get data upto 3:32 pm
it happened to me also

I am facing similar issues stated below.
Could you pls guide me in adding new symbols everytime while logging in.
Even after saving next logging will not have new codes.

Also can we upload any file to watchlist.. instead of adding each codes.

Your software is pretty good. Can you make it a bit more user friendly by the following features:

a) Currently I have to manually put the Stock symbols in ManshiRT server. Can this ticker list be pulled from the Amibroker symbol list rather than putting the same thing twice manually in 2 different places ( once in Ami and other in ManshiRT)?
Because new symbols get enlisted frequently by NSE without our knowing. Only when I pull the EOD data to AMibroker, I can find new symbols if there is any. Thsi can automate the new symbol incorporation.

b) Everytime I start-up Amibroker, I have to right click on ManshiRT and then select each symbol ( in ManshiRT) individually and push 'backfill' tab. I was trying to select all the symbols at one go but not able to do the same. Is there any way by which this functionality can be enabled? More preferable would be to to auto update the intraday datafeed once amibroker is started.

c) I am trying to put Index symbols e.g. NSEI in Manshi RT and also in AMi. But data for the same is not getting updated in AMibroker. I have gone through your PDF and YouTube files but not able to resolve the issue. I am not sure what I am doing wrong.

I understand that this is a free software and the changes suggested by me can be time consuming for you. I won't have any complaint If you are not in a position to consider these suggestions. The software in its current state is good enough.

i am not able to open the site microsoft.com or download .net 3.5 or any other as the links do not open in my laptop. I have xp and sp3 and java etc . I tried downloading in another pc and copied the dotnet file and started to install but after clicking it shows problem encountered and stops. While in other pc it got installed easily
can u plz guide me online yahoo and gmail id is ashiqueabrar

Hi,

It could be due to network error during installation as it tries to download rest of the binaries later. Please try downloading complete package from http://download.microsoft.com/download/2/0/e/20e90413-712f-438c-988e-fdaa79a8ac3d/dotnetfx35.exe and try.

It does the only thing is that there is a 15 min delay but that doesn't bother me much. Many thanks
