Why do you want to change from Oanda? What problems are you facing with them?

Pipshower,
Do you live in india? If you do then what is the process of opening a forex account?

MJ-
Before opening an acct with any broker you need to know which broker is suitable for you
which trading platform you need
what is your investment amount etc
and you need to have verification documents like driving licence or passport and electricity bill/telephone bill etc scanned ..

But before you go live trading , practice on demo so you can get idea of how to trade forex and after you have 3 months of profits on demo go live ...
Well if you are newbie do demo trading thats my advice
if you need any help just ask me..
hope this helps

Thank You Pips for your quick reply,
Here are a few questions,

What is the smallest contract we can take in forex, say for eur/usd or Usd/Jpy, how much will one basis point equal to in rupee terms with one (smallest) contract

I have heard, the RBI limits these investments, is it true?

The smallest contract as such differs with each and every broker
On oanda you can trade any size you choose and in forex you buy one currency and sell other which is a pair ..so you trade forex in pairs

Hello

I know about MRC Markets. They have Meta trader as their platform, which is quite common and an open source. Along with that their spreads are very small (1 or 2 pips mainly). They are trying to setup a system, wherein, Indians would be able to pay by debit or credit cards directly. I know their Indian representative. I am still on demo on their platform, as not gaining proper confidence yet.

Hope it helps

I use forex.com. So far, I have had very little problems. But then again, I know there are a lot of options available and I have not yet compared them to all the rest.
