Reliance Infra

Hi Jnj,
For the past 10 days their is again a strange behaviour on both RIIL and Jai Corp counters. Some days their are in UC with unprecendented volumes and some days they are down by 1% with extermely low volumes like today. My curiousity arises as to how some one fine day 6 lakh people are interested in these shares(both buy and sell wise) and still more people are coming in to keep in UC. And some days their are very few people (50,000) and its down by 1%. What does all this mean to a normal invester.

Thanks
SN

Means nothing much, HOLD with patience, Both are not short term stocks, They will go up when internal restructuring of companies are complete along with various other factors like SEZ progress etc. Meanwhile informed circles will keep on accumulating as per their resources , thats why the strange behaviour .
In terms of patience I still remember the presplit/bonus days of JaiCorp when it fell from 4000 to 1500 levels and hovered there for about 6 months, most people lost patience and sold out and regreted it later. On the contrary you can see it a opportunity to accumulate in small quantities as and when you have surplus funds (Below 1000 levels for Jai and below 1700 for RIIL, if ever they go there) and invest only that money which you may not require for a year or two.

I saw a strange thing last thursday when JC hit the upper circuit. There was a buy order for 1025/- (quantity) and JC traded above this price price for quite some time and finally ended in UC. The strange thing is for the whole day this 5000 share order was pending and never executed. The interesting fact is that few weeks back i did see the same sitation (someone placing a order for 5000 shares at 1025/- and the order never got executed) and finally JC ending up in UC. I believe it must be a buyer trying to show inflated demand in the counter so that people always put buy orders above his buy price, and for the day the stock remains above this price.

I wanted to know if anyone else has noticed similar behaviour in any other counter? If my interpretation is correct, isn't this wrong on the part of this buyer since he is trying to show a artificial demand in this script?

Hi Jnj,
Came to know that reliance has floated new company RGTIL (Reliance Gas Transportation Infrastructure Limited). I am in little bit panic mode. Does that mean its the end of RIIL. Could you share your views please.

Thanks

Thats not a new company but already an old unlisted group company of RIL . No need to panic for RIIL as of now. Hold.
