i am using angel from almost two years. its services are best and good local branch customer care. online calls are not so much good its just ok.

What is the margin offered by angel broking ? I have a Sharekhan account and I am being offered 4 times my cash amount.

officially angel offers margin 5 times your cash,if your trading is good that may go upto 8-10 times the cash limit for intraday.Again margin varies for different stocks in A,B1,B2 groups.......there is no margin for delivery but for btst they offer 3times in a group stocks.
Angel offers good service and their trading platform is quite good,by the way iam using angeldiet,their intraday recos are pathetic say 50-50.

0.3% delivery(0.47 with all tax) 0.05% intrday only on buy price. No Advance brokerage only margin of 5000 /- required

how is religare service

Dear all,
I'm considering opening a dp stock trading account with religare. could you share any of your experiences positive/negative with religare.

I'm a low-frequency trader and mainly for investing purpose. the reason I'm inclined to go with religare is:
- low fees (0.3% for delivery brkg)
- no AMC for DP account (hdfc charges Rs. 500, geojit charges Rs. 250 each year)
- the software seems good from initial looks.

However, I'm a little apprehensive abt. the overall service..since even their toll-free phone number listed on their website does not work!

Please provide any feedback you may have and help me decide which one to choose.

Sharekhan Nifty Futures

Sharekhan for futures charges 0.1 % borkerage on buy side and 0.02% on sell side.Some this month on a particular day, i shorted a Nifty contract at 6187 and bought back at 6165.Since me being new to this field i happy with little profit that i made. However later when i checked the trade in the order book i was astonished to find that the buy rate as 6171 and sell rate as 6185.This ate up a big chuck of my profit,not to mention the other taxes. When i called them i was informed that 0.1% of 6165 was 6171 approx. so that became my buy rate and similiarly for sell side. Is this how it works with other brokerers too? Can u suggest any other broker suited for day trading futures?

P.S :- Would be glad if someone could share information on Nifty trading.
