Unfortunately there is not a single platform/software in India which comes under "Good" category, forget about "Better" or "Best"!

I am using two BAD items, Sharekhan TT software (free) and icharts.in web platform (paid) -- kya kare, chalana padta hai, because it happens only in India :annoyed:

Broker like you are good for survival but badly required a single one "The Best" software!

What we really need is a software like metatrader or TradeStation. It allows you to make your own charting patterns and Indicators if you don't like the standard ones. Sadly there is not a single brokerage which actually pays attention to charts. If someone comes up with a good charting software lots of people will move there just to save subscription fees.
I am using metatrader4 and it is a paid service.

I feel Omnesys NOW is the best because of its high frequency quote refresh and the fact that you can stream quotes through Excel into Amibroker (and possibly other charting softwares) in real time, therefore no need for any other charting tool. Odin is not bad but its quote refresh is almost once in every 4 seconds which is not so great compared to NSE NOW which is almost per second. Trade Tiger looks good with its charting features and all, but is a hog on resources and very poor quote refresh frequency. IIFL software is not so good compared to TradeTiger. So overall NSE NOW seems to me the best of the lot. Odin has a limitation of 28 scrips in the MW, which is another downer for Odin compared to 55 scrips for NOW and possibly unlimited scrips for TradeTiger and IIFL. You can stream quotes from Odin, NSE NOW and TradeTiger to Amibroker in real time through Excel, but NSE NOW wins because of its high frequency quotes refresh rates and low system resources required.

NOW is fast, but its charting sucks. RKSV is asking for charting software. So, there's no question of Odin. Anyway, using Odin is a good reason to look for alternatives.
