we are not flying because of possibility of crash, we are just waiting for the discount, staying out of the market at the right time is actually play, and from what i remember from one of jesse livermore's quotes is , it is more important for a trader to know when he should get out of the market than anything else. if you read the book , he says that was his first triumph, he sold off just before a stock crashed.
